Earrings cateye musterd

These earrings are made in collaboration with a small silversmith's workshop in Istanbul by skilled craftspeople. They are crafted from 22-karat gold-plated brass with a mustard-yellow cat's-eye stone.

These are  synthetic gemstones. They are artificially created and have roughly the same chemical and physical properties as natural stones.

These often valuable synthetic  gemstones should not be confused with so-called imitations, as these are imitations made using other materials, primarily glass or synthetic resin. These also have completely different chemical and physical properties.

However, they have unique optical properties and are primarily used as diamond substitutes. Most artificially reproduced gemstones are less expensive than natural gemstones. Synthetically composed gemstones are not considered imitations but are considered a separate group alongside natural gemstones. The total length of the earrings is 3.2 cm.
